Dock ramps, also known as loading ramps, are widely used in the loading bays of logistics centers, warehouses, and factory dispatch areas. In many cases, the truckâs container floor is not level with the loading bay, making it impossible for forklifts or trolleys to enter the container directly. As a result, goods must be moved manually, which is labor-intensive and highly inefficient.
With an automatic dock leveler, this issue is fully resolved. Installed in a pre-built concrete pit, the stationary dock leveler uses a hydraulic motor to raise and lower the platform, creating a seamless bridge between the ground and the truck floor. Forklifts and trolleys can then move quickly and safely across the platform, significantly improving loading and unloading efficiency while reducing manual labor.
